Welcome to Utah, where the white steeples are a plenty.
Fall 2002 - 1st year of college and this picture documents my first snow fall. I called my mom screaming that it was snowing outside. I will forever remember the day: October 1, 2002. For some reason I thought school might be cancelled, but I'm a silly California girl who didn't even know what walking in the snow meant yet.
This was my view on the way to work everyday. I learned to really appreciate the countryside.
Taken on my last day of work - this was and hopefully is the last sunrise that I ever have to get paid to see
View of the valley
More "country"
Ever since the first time I drove out of Sardine Canyon I always look to find the "A" lit up.
I document this because there is a family connection with this building. When I was touring USU, my grandparents took me to the quad and explained the original layout of the buildings. This building was where my grandpa took his Math/Engineering classes and it is where James took his English classes. My grandparents met at USU and you can guess where James and I met.
I love the architecture of this building and it was where I had a my FCHD classes.
I will always be thankful for Oakridge. It's how James and I met.
I will not miss walking up three flights of stairs.
I always like to make fun of the things that I end up living next to. I've lived across from a sheep farm, beehives, horse pasture, and now a hay field.
This is my favorite house in Logan - It reminds me of houses in California.
Logan Temple - 2nd favorite temple
Why this picture? The last place I worked at made a great impact on me. I've never known what it's like to have an eating disorder, but I've sure seen the pain it's caused. This is one of my favorite memories of work. When we would go to the gym the girls would place post-its everywhere with different messages on them. It's a tradition I hope to continue.
It's done! And not a moment too soon.
Both James and I have had our tender moments of tears, but nothing will compare to the moment when we drive away.
Goodbye Logan. I was hesitant both times I moved to you and I can't say that I will miss the small town feel but I will cherish the things you gave me.
